| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 23, 2009 Nutty, slightly spicy, and malty nose. Opaque gold/amber color, small head. Caramelized grass sweetness, noticeable bitterness. Good carbonation, lighter bodied, but mouth feel is more substantial than this would suggest. Finish is bright, rich, but fairly clean. Nothing jumps out as a massive characteristic, but it is a tasty well put together beer. BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 19, 2009 Bottled Aug week 4. Poured amber with an off-white head that settles to a ring. Aromas of grain, hops, caramel, and a slight hint of vinegar. The flavor found caramel, grain, and a hoppy background. Medium body, sweet, slightly musty. jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 17, 2009 Copper coloured body with orange tints and a thinnish off-white head. Aroma of older hops, along with curacao, coriander seed and a plentiful amount of malt. Medium to Light-bodied; Hops up front in the taste with a bit of a malt kick, then followed by oranges and some sugars. Aftertaste is very bland and not very strong at all - a bit of the hops showing through, but not much. Overall, not a good showing of an ESB - more english hops needed and much more character throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 06-November-2006. smith4498 (919), Miami, Florida, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jan 7, 2009 This bitter pours an amber red with a light tan head, mostly dissipating.Nose is malt and caramel. Mouthfeel is creamy and soft. Taste is mild with some caramel, malt flavors but also a slight chalkiness. Finishes clean. OK but not the best of Lakefront’s brews. Pairs well with chili on a winter’s day. JaBier (1261), Capital City, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 6, 2009 12oz bottle from the mix pack. Pours clear amber with a half inch off-white head. Average aroma of malt, hop and yeast with none really standing out. Flavor is somewhat hoppy up front then some malt and a faint fruitiness I can only equate to grape Kool-Aid.
