Pours amber, white head.
Aroma grainy, dry apple cider like bitterness, hops.
Flavor, hops bitterness upfront, bittersweet finish, mild notes of malts, keeps a fruity apple-like mouthfeel, fizzy carbonation. lithy (1800), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Sep 23, 2009 Pours a hazy dark orange color. Thin beige head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is caramel malt and sweet corn. Flavor is odd--has a mild sweetness up front that is overtaken by bitterness and a skunky off-flavor. Don’t know if I just got a bad bottle, but this one was a drainpour. scrizzz (1330), kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 23, 2009 Straw colored? More like deep red! Creamy fluffy head, faintest of tan. Dry rusty malt nose, earthy hops. Sugary sweet, balanced midpalate, little hop forward in the finish. Kudos for the organic beer!
