12oz bottle pours copper with a short white head that fades quick. Aroma is of nutmeg, pumpkin, cinnamon, and caramel malt. Flavor is similar. Quite sweet with a touch of vanilla in there as well. Palate is medium bodied and not very carbonated. Drinkable.. another average pumpkin ale..

12oz bottle acquired in trade with Jcapriotti (thanks!). Bottle labled bottled druing October, WK3. Poured a dark and slightly hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of stronger pumpkin (freshly ground up) and some cinnamon. Tastes of pumpkin and spices bordering on the watery side.

A clear, amber colored beer with a distinct aroma. Not overpowering and good after-taste. One of the better seasonal offerings by Lakefront.

2005 bottle from Liquor mart drunk on 9/29/2005. A clear, filtered amber-to-light-mahogany colored beer, with a quickly dissipating off-white head, no lacing. Rather bubbly. Aroma of raw pumpkin meat, brown sugar and cinnamon. Very sweet, with some buttercream qualities, don’t get any of the hops, definitely not any lager yeast. Pretty much a sweet cream and pumpkin pie aroma. Flavor is more of the same; very sweet, brown sugar-meets-heavy cream flavor, moderately carbonated, with a raw pumpkin meatiness, that may be authentic, but seems to overpower the otherwise lighter characteristics of the mouthfeel, especially being that this is quite filtered. Looking for the lager qualities, I find none. Cinnamon/nutmeg and light allspice on the end, some plant-like, vegetal notes and more buttercream. I appreciate that it’s not overspiced, and there is a definite sweetness to it that at least gives it some body, but the mouthfeel is weak. I’m not so sure a creamy-sweet pumpkin beer works well with a lager, I’d prefer to stick to an ale. I did have this only chilled (and the first half straight from the bottle), however, so that may be a problem.

Tap at Benno’s. Pours to an amber/bronze body with a white head. The aroma is light. Pumpkin and spice. Cardamom? Too light! This is the lightest tasting pumpkin beer I’ve had. Nice sweet pumpkin, very light spices. The palate is creamy and medium bodied. Nice and good carbonation.

I believe they pour the pumpkin pie mix right into the mash during the brewing process. It is a very spicy beer with lots of pumpkin flavor. Quite good - for a beer with Pumpking in it.

This wasn’t bad at all. There are lots of spices in both the aroma and taste, being dominated by cinnamon and nutmeg. Pretty creamy with a strong pumpkin aftertaste. I thought it was a fun beer for the season.

Pours a clear amber color, small white head quickly disapearing. Aroma is of cinnamon, like "liquid atomic fireballs". Flavor is sweet, lots of spices, with a sweet malt body. Not a big fan of the style.
