Light sweet aroma, touch of pumpkin spice - unobtrusive. Tastes like rather bland lager with a just a light bit of pumpkin spice - the vegetal flavour may not be pulp, but rather the lagery taste I usually don’t enjoy. Unremarkable body with decent carbonation. Quaffable, but a bit bland. dcr2 (7), Wisconsin, USA does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Mar 1, 2009 This is my favorite pumpkin beer out there so far. I love the really rich taste and the enticing aroma. If you like pumpkin beers this one is great, and one of, if not the only, pumpkin lager. The rest are usually ales. | 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Feb 1, 2009 Pours a hazy orange with a tiny white head yet has that constant carbonation like a glass of Sprite. Kind of an odd smell to it. pumpkin type spices, maybe cinnamon or apple pie even a bad potpourri smell. something very sweet and spicy about the aroma. Flavor is not that great, lots of nutmeg/ginger flavors. I may be biased ’cause I’m not a fan of ginger. Pumpkin, herbal flavors. Slight sweetness .Light body, thin mouthfeel, long finish taste stick with you but I don’t like it very much. Go try Dogfish Punkin’ Ale if you want a good pumpkin flavored beer. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 10, 2009 Crushed around CaryTheDude and JakeBra. They told me this was pretty good. They were kind of wrong. Golden, pee like pour. Smelled like pumpkin and vomit. Pretty gross, thought I told it was old. Flavor is drinkable, but still has all the crap you don’t really want that is apparent in a pumpkin. Not good. ChainGangGuy (2592), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA

Appearance: Pours a clear, orange-hued body with an inch of fizzy, whitish head.
Smell: Aroma of lightly toasted and caramel maltiness with a fragrant note of blended pumpkin pie spices and pumpkin meat.
Taste: Light toasty and caramel malts with a restrained sweetness that makes way for a squashy pumpkin flavor and distinct tastes of cinnamon, clove, allspice, and nutmeg. Light spicy hop character and bitterness. Finishes crisp and dry with a lingering taste of earthy, Autumn-minded spices.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Worth a bottle or pint. A solid, easily drinkable pumpkin brew, though liking pumpkin beers may be a prerequisite. otismulligan (34), Yardley, Pennsylvania, USA
