Aroma of pumpkin pie spicing, pumpkin, nuts and bready. Flavor was again a lot of that pumpkin pie character you would expect. Actually getting more actual pumpkin flavor in this beer more so than I really ever had with any other pumpkin beers. Even getting more texture in the mouthfeel. I wonder if part of that is due to the fact that this is a lager. Not sure I had many pumpkin lagers..usually ales. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 30, 2008 Bottle from Capone’s. Dark straw toward copper pour with nose of pumpkin puree, spice, and a slightly sweet, natural pumpkin flavor with spice and malt. Fairly rich palate and a good balance. This one is decent. natejgood (197), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 24, 2008 This beer pours almost orange in color with a light white head. The beer is a bit hazy in the glass. The aroma is sweet and a bit like pumpkin spice. You can definitely taste the lager flavor, but it is sweet and has some hints of pumpkin pie spice. The flavor is a little sweet and doesn’t have as much of the spice as I would like, but it’s not a bad pumpkin beer. Wulfstan (509), California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 23, 2008 This is fairly good for a pumpkin ale, not a very trustworthy style in my experience.
Dark brownish amber, a bit cloudy, it has an off-white head soon shrinking to a wispy top. The smell is white wine, stewed fruit, cinnamon and spice, hints of caramelized pumpkin and bread. The taste os alcohol, hints of bread, browned pumpkin, a little spice and toast. michael-pollack (2755), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured orange/amber in color with a small, off-white head that fizzed and disappeared immediately. Clear. Slightly sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of pumpkin, nutmeg, and spices. Light to medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Pumpkiny, lightly dry finish. troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 20, 2008 (Bottle) Pours a dark shade of amber with a good amount of head. Aroma is heavy on spice, especially ginger. Taste includes some clove and cinnamon roll. Honestly, I am not getting a lot of pumpkin notes in here... just a lot of spice. Fair mouthfeel and body. Not too bad, but probably something I would skip next time around. esjaygee (1600), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 12, 2008 Particulate laden amber with a quickly dissipating white head. Aroma of pumpkin, spice, nutmeg and sweet malt. Taste of pumpkin, spice, nutmeg. Semi watery body that finishes semi dry and spicy. lumpsowers (252), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA
