Body is light...there’s just enough malts to keep this going. Big nutmeg splash. Plus, it has lager cleanliness. Not the coolest pumpkin beer I’ve ever had, but probably the most technically sound. hopdog (5602), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Bottle labled bottled druing October, WK3. Poured a dark and slightly hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of stronger pumpkin (freshly ground up) and some cinnamon. Tastes of pumpkin and spices bordering on the watery side. CaptainCougar (5517), Rockville, Maryland, USA

This has very distinctive taste of cinnamon and maybe nutmeg that seems to compliment the pumpkin very well. I’m not a big pumpkin fan, but I could definitely drink this with ease. Tastes of spices but not as blended as I’d like. Nothing but the pumpkin spices really shine through on this one. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA

Sweet pumpkin syrup and candy smell, a bit artificial. Taste has some rye, cardamom, soap and some sweet peach. Too candy-like. Cornfield (4950), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA

It’s so much like most of the rest of the pumpkin beers. The body’s a deep gold with a touch of orange. The head starts big then fizzles out quickly. It smells of nutmeg and allspice and whatever one usually tosses into a pumpkin pie/cake/cookie/etc. Tastes that way, too. Okay, meaning as good as the others.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 9, 2002 Light amber with a light cream colored, quickly dissipating head. Aroma of cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg with a faint pale malt undertone. Malt hits you first followed by light spice and then back to malt maltiness. Its been some time since I had had this one, and this one is better than I remember. Pumpkin really doen’t come out until it warms up. Finishes slightly spicy and a touch of hops bitterness. A very good pumpkin beer.
