Jul 30, 2004 Bottle. Light amber, tarnished color. Some mildly oat roasted malt flavors. Mostly a hoppy-ish beer in the end. Watery texture. It’s a lager.

Jan 11, 2009 Amber pour. CaryTheDude, JakeBra, RyBra and various others told me this was awesome. I disagree. This is ok. Deep amber pour. Carmel aroma. Flavor is also carmelly. It’s ok. Not great. But, for a vienna, It’s alright.

Dec 5, 2006 No piddle in this puddle from the very merry middle I’m glad to report. After having some not so well maintained beers form this brewery it’s nice to find one that’s okay. It’s even exciting, almost thrilling. Nothing massive to report - carbonation runs a little high, sweet malt and firm enough body and enough hops to quench thirst and then ... it’s done and I’m not positive I’m a better person, but if you want me to be I’ll try just for you because I’m that kind of guy.

Oct 6, 2006 (bottle) copper with nice off-white head. Sweetish malt aroma. Flavor is sweet malt, easy on the hops.

May 29, 2003 Strong caramel flavor and very malty - Light, roasty body, and very smooth. A hint of nuttiness like a brown ale.

Jul 18, 2007 Updated: Dec 7, 2008Rerate with bottle thanks to 17th floor. Cloudy amber with small beige head. Aroma is caramel with mild hops. Flavor is dry malt with noble hops with some citrus, actually kind of tasty. Creamy medium body. Nice.
Gift from gf from Wi. 12oz bottle. Clear, dark brown with samll off-white head. Aroma of citrus with sweet caramel malt and some dough. Flavor of med sweet, orange, nice light bitterness, caramel some grain. Nice med-full body and a little bit creamy. Best Lakefront beer I’ve had. 7 3 8 4 16 = 3.8

Jun 25, 2008 Bottled. Surprising, in a good way. Classic vienna all around. Great combination of caramel malt and hints of sweeter sugar. So far my favourite beer from this brewery.

Feb 9, 2007 Clear copper appearance with a small off white head. Aroma of roasted malts, cookie dough, caramel and ripe fruit. Sweet malts dominate the taste; an earthy edge helps bring out flavors of fall fruits and spices. Smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with good carbonation leading to a lasting, mildly bitter finish.
