Aroma is malty, with grapes, figs, plums, dark fruit. Taste is fully malty, rather rich and with hints of caramel and dark fruits. Thick but clean. Pretty tastey, I’d order again. thooper41 (386), Oregon, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 7, 2009 Nose is sweet caramel and bready malt with a hint of spicy nutmeg and a tinge of something almost metallic (not really in an unpleasant way, if that makes any sense). Taste is light and nutty, a slight brown sugar sweetness and a crisp, just slightly bitter finish. Highly drinkable stuff, a very good effort at a not so popular style. Kudos lakefront.
