The aroma has coffee, heavily toasted malt, and chocolate. The appearance is dark red/brown with a creamy tan head. The flavor is like the aroma with the addition of almonds. The palate is just a wee bit thin for the style but still within acceptable limits. The finish is dry and slightly acidic. I can’t find anything wrong with it but it’s just not world class; very Decent.

Beer poured a dark crimson black body and a tall tan head. The aroma is indeed dry, chalky and roasty. Flavor hints of cold coffee, some coco, a note of almond, and allusion of smoke. The palate is a medium thickness, creamy with a lingering dry coffee like finish. An enjoyable beer… well done!

Bottle. Pours almost black with ruby highlights and a small light tan head that fades to a ring and leaves minimal lacing. Aroma is cold coffee with notes of smoked and roasted malt. Taste is the same as aroma. Thin mouthfeel with a mild bitterness and light carbonation. I like old cold coffee so I enjoyed this beer quite a bit.

Bottle.Pours with a black color and not much of a head. Bodys too thin for a dry stout. Aromas of roasted malts. Flvors of coffee and a bit of hoppy bitterness. Not too impressed by this one.

Bottle shared with Degarth. Thanks, bro. Pours a very dark brown, almost black, with a medium tan head. Looks like espresso. Aroma is cold coffe, burnt roast, malts, cocoa. Heavily astringent on the tongue, medium carbonation. Taste is flat coffee, charred roast and malt. Tastes a lot like Guinness, but this beer is not nitrogen, so it’s not nearly as filling.

Poured an opaque block hue with a very thin tan head. Aroma was sweet with molasass but some roasted notes were present. Flavor was dry with a subtle almost charcoal characteristics. Some what light, but overall very smooth.

Heavy biscuit malt essence with other roasted malt flavors of nut and oats. Very dry and pretty thin, little head and dark as night.

Very smoky flavor with a hint of sweetness. Nice head. A sweet fruity aroma that was not evident in the taste. Dry finish. Not bad but not a standout.
