Aroma is full of roastey and burnt malts. Coffee is big as well and a slight chocolate sweetness. Black with a diminishing two finger thick mocha head. Fore is thin and watery, but some coffee and roasted malt pops out but it, naturally, comes off as watery coffee. Finish is a bit tinny as well, but it has a nice bitterness that lingers and while it needs to be a lot thicker it has the base flavor down...it just needs a lot more concentration of that flavor. beervana (781), Libertyville, Illinois, USA

Pours brown-black with tiny off-white head and no discernable carbonation. Roasted malt aroma. Medium bodied stout that starts dry with tiny malt sweetness and dried fruit (prune?)/expresso/roasted malt flavors. Finishes dry with roasted malt flavor and bitterness fade. Flavorful and smooth. A very good dry stout. SledgeJr (3003), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

Black bodied and intimidating with a thin, oily, tan film sloshing around on top. Well-roasted aroma, coffee-bitter that carries over largely into the flavor. Full-bodied & oily, finishing dry. A fine stout.
