Commercial Description:
Brewed in the style of a Belgian Wit. A special blend of coriander, orange zest and unmalted wheat help to make this a remarkably refreshing summer beer.

12 ounce bottle - $5.00 at Taco Mac in Kennesaw, Georgia. Bottled during the 2nd week of December. Appearance: Pours out a clear, yellow body with a thin, fizzy, white head. The kind of beer Stone Brewing talks about. Smell: Zesty citrus and redolent spices overlaying a light malt aroma. Taste: Light pale maltiness with a faintly sweet, tangy wheat malt character. Tiniest hint of vanilla. Squirt of lemon juice with a blend of spices with flourishes of cardamom and clove. Mild spicy hops with just a touch of appreciable bitterness. Drying finishes with a light, lingering spice character. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-high carbonation. Drinkability: Nicely refreshing and reasonably tasty. Not bad, Lakefront!

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is some corriander with a touch of yeast. Flavor is a nice spice up front then comes more of a citrus followed by bready malts. Better than expected.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy yellow color with a large yellow-white head. The aroma was dry, musty, slightly spicy and had a light citrus element. The flavor was dry, bitter and a little tart with a musty and peppery undertone and a hint of citrus and cardboard. The finish was short. Decent.

Very light on the nose, with a pale murkiness in color. slight aftertaste of grapefruit like bitterness. No real discernible flavors in the beer while drinking it. Not undrinkable, but a little lacking.

Butter’s 4th cellar reduction. Pours a hazy yellow with a disappearing white head. Strong fruit sweetness with coriander and clove on the nose. Taste reminds me of fall and would be great while eating turkey.

Bottle at the Fourth Butters’ Cellar Clearance Event. Pours a clear pale yellow with wispy white head. Nose of lemon citrus, possibly orange, and coriander, with some white pepper spice. Pepper spice, coriander, and orange. Clean, crisp, and refreshing. Nicely done.

12 oz bottle at Butters’ 4th Cellar Reduction. Pour from the top that was clear golden body with a lasting white head on the edges and some thin lacing. Smells of coriander, clove, barnyard, some citrus and banana. Tastes the same as the aroma. Enjoyed this one for a white.

Thick, snow white, long lasting head with a nose full of bready, yeasty, hoppy wheat aromas. GORGEOUS. Color of lemonade. Tastes of coriander, citrus, mineral, and smooth hop-bread notes. Beautiful beer; very impressed!
