Commercial Description:
Brewed in the style of a Belgian Wit. A special blend of coriander, orange zest and unmalted wheat help to make this a remarkably refreshing summer beer.

12oz bottle. Smelled of yeasty bread dough, sour citrus fruits (lemon and orange mostly), and coriander. Poured a cloudy yellow color. Head was thick and white. Light body with minimal fleeting acidity up front that gave way to a delicate sweetness. Lemon, orange, coriander, and wheat flavors. Nice enough wit.

12oz bottle. Light cloudy orange color. Mellow orange and wheat aroma. Very crisp and drinkable, with a little bit of a citrus zest. The coriander also comes through in the initial mouthfeel, until it fades into a creamy finish. Pretty good stuff, nothing exceptional. I’m sure it makes a hell of a session beer around Lakefront.

12oz bottle. Aroma: Typical wit aromas. Wheat, lemon, coriander, and a bit of orange. Getting some light sulfury notes, as well. Appearance: Pale golden in color and slightly hazed. Bright white head was full and creamy with good retention. Fair lacing. Flavor: Wheat and a bit of cereal-like barley upfront. Lemon and orange with a bit of pepper and coriander. Light bitterness with a slightly ’wet’ finish. Palate: Light bodied. Medium carbonation. Overall: Refreshing and pleasant, but nothing to wow me.

After two tastings of this, it’s ok, not great within style. The pour is typical in color, pale golden, head underaverage, quite flat looking after a few seconds (although plenty carbonated). The aroma was wheat with some coriander type spicing going on. The flavor follow suite, some bitter to sour wheaty aspects holding things together, but far inferior to the best of its class. Mouthfeel was a tad on the thin side, need more heartiness in a Wit.

Whitish-yellow colour. Rich lemony, coriandery aroma. Moderate body, with just a hint of sweetness, some lemon and light spice. Decent, fairly refreshing example.

not much to say about this one, its has some tartness that does make it work for a witbier. some mild orange like flavor.
