Clear, straw-colored lager with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is reserved, but I am finally able to pull butter, straw and pale malt notes from the glass. Medium-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and near-dead carbonation. Tilts only a fraction toward the hoppy side of balance. Bone-dry finish. Kudos to TheCheeseMan for sharing the bottle! Decent lace. Fairly sizable hops aromas, mild grass, herbs and hint of lemon zest. Hints of lightly toasted pale malt and caramel in the background. Pretty much how a pils should smell, perhaps a bit sweet if anything. Pale malt sweetness quickly meets hops bitterness in the quaff. Some light zest and white pepper in the bitterness. Quite crisp in the finish. LInger has a light return of malt. I have really been missing some of the german pils that were once available in the area and this one helps (along with Prima - when it is fresh). Thanks Wolskis and Lakefront. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 12, 2008 Purchased a 22-oz bomber at the Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and shared with guests after the tour. Pours a clear golden pale blonde brew with a thin and fast dissolving white head that dissipates to a thin white ring. Aroma of multi-grain and golden malts, a touch of lemon zest, some grassy hops and a hint of light citrus. Taste is light to medium bodied, with flavors of white bready malt, some lemon zest, and some grassy hops. Finish has a nice balance that is both semi-dry and semi-sweet. Quite enjoyable for light pilsener beer. Ughsmash (4079), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 23, 2009 Bomber. Poured clear paler golden with a thick, well-retained cap of white head.. set up quite nicely. The aroma picked up floral and lesser lemony notes over pale and bready sweetness.. soft and well presented. The flavor had sourdough bread at the core with fresh floral, grassy, and citrus bitterness around.. mildly sour overall impression.. nice balance to it. Light-to-medium bodied and spicy on the palate, again with good balance.. just a little too sour at the back. Very good overall. daknole (3027), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA

Flavor is bitter, pale malts, and grainy. Not a super high quality beer. But drinkable. 1FastSTi (2588), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 22, 2008 Bomber purchased at Wolski’s. It has a cool bumper sticker you can peel off the bottle. Pours to a clean pale gold body with a lasting white head. The aroma is noble hops and a nice moderate breadiness. I drank this over many hours, so my rating may be a little too in depth. When at proper serving temperature, the beer has a nice grassy noble hop and crisp bready malts with a nice lager yeast. The beer, as it warms up, obtains a buttery biscuit thing. But mind you, that’s when room temp. But, it was still quite drinkable then. The palate is crisp and clean and super easy to drink. Beerlando (2353), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 22, 2008 Courtesy TheCheeseMan. Pours like a standard pils, a clear, medium-golden color with a small, fleeting, off-white head. Minimal, soapy lacing mostly rejoins the body. The aroma is crisp and fresh, creamy pils malts accompanied by light grassy hops and a tart lemony zing. Flavors are light, fresh, and easy going. Bready yeast and creamy, lightly sweet malts are balanced perfectly by a nice dose of grassy hops and a hint of lemongrass. A smooth, creamy, moderate body works very well in this highly sessionable brew. I could easily drink several bombers by myself on a Sunday afternoon. esjaygee (1581), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 22, 2009 Straw yellow with a foamy white head that leaves plenty of lace. Aroma of grassy hops, sweet malt with some grains, floral and spicy hops too. Taste is very florally hopped with some pepper, spice and sweet malt. A bit thin and lowly carbonated but not too bad.
