An alright alternative if you are short on cash AWS9 (231), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

The extra alcohol isn’t really noticeable, but this stuff is just harsh because of it’s taste. I think the only excuse for drinking this is the extra alcohol and you’re a poor university student... I’ll give it an equal rating to the standard lakeport as it tastes worse, but the alcohol gives it the slightest bump. beerlover79 (35), st. catharines, Ontario, Canada

On par with all the other ICE brands, not as good as Labatt’s, but why else would you drink an ice beer, other than to get wrecked quickly? duckdown (7), GTA, Ontario, Canada does not count | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 8, 2006 Compared to other ICE type beers, this is an excellent bargain for the money. For only a buck a beer, you cannot go wrong, and I actually find it to be a crisp and refreshing beer as long as you serve it ice cold.
Obviously I am not a fussy person, but I definitely think this is a drinkable product and it ends up in my fridge any time I’m low on funds.
I’d reccomend it over Lakeport Pilsner or the Honey Brown, and even like it more than Lucky Lager or other dollar-brands.
Thumbs up! RaphaelN (195), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada

The slightly stronger alcohol actually makes make a big change to the body, but I still wouldn’t recommend it. iambeer (255), Ontario, Canada
