Jul 6, 2008 The after taste is sort of of malty and the colour is dark and sexy... But it still has that swishy foamy taste of a lager ... which is not my thing... Scottish ales are strong heavy meals in a glass... this a little watery . I guess I’m being judgmental because I really like Scotch ales. But, as lagers go this quite good.

Feb 2, 2008 well there is some malt in there......surprisingly. Aroma is still quite grainy, lots of corn mixed with slight caramel flavours.......this is odd. But drinkable, but not repeatable.

Pour is very unusual for a macro, it has both colour and head go figure. Medium brown colour with a decent tan head. Nose is nutty, and chocolatey, taste is hops and malt, nothing extravagant, very thin mouthfeel, most dissapointing aspect of the beer.
