Bov (4604), Bienne, Switzerland May 15, 2007 contract brewed for Brasserie Gambrinus, Mulhouse; sampled at the Biertage 2007 - cloudy orange colour with a giant chaotic foam; estery nose with notes of pears and grapefruit; very sweet, medium-bodied at best, slightly sour and oily; the finish is short, fruity and gently dry - modest Geiserich (1530), Vienna, Austria Mar 26, 2007 Intensive aroma of banana, yeast, citrus and light herbal. Flavor is fruity, light sourly (tangerine), sherry notes. Sourly, astringent finish. A bit to much acid but a nice complex brew. henrikb (1031), Aarhus, Denmark Jul 27, 2006 Dark golden, beautiful white head, laces, lots of Champagne like bubbles; Very easy going nose, pleasant, balanced, but not very complex; A little sharp carbonation in body, very full and balanced; Into bitter pleasant finish, not lasting long, the aromas are very limited and very basic. Very drinkable pleasant beer, but way to tame.
