Bottle, 33 cl at Cambrinus, Brugge. Presented in a nice bottle. One served in the glass the beer is dark brown with a red shine on it with a big white head, disappearing very fast however. Hoppy smell, with some fruits and malts, not creating a refreshing smell however. Taste is yeasty, some dark fruit notes, sweet and malty. Not an unnice beer to drink, but it makes me think too much of "a heavy beer just to have a heavy beer", lacking overall in pallet.

bottle@cambrinus-brugge, dark reddish beer with big white and unstable head. Smell: a bit like a cheap beer (old and rotten hops) Taste: better than the smell: berries, sugar, a bit watery. Not an unpleasant beer but it has no spectacular palate. You have so many better belgian ales.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with a huge tan head. Dry malty, roasted and somewhat brettish. Fruity flavoured with a light brett note and mild yeasty mellow touch. Roasted malt and lasting fruity base flavour. Dry and acidic finish.

Bottle @ Chris_o’s Pre-Beer Exposed Tasting, September 2008.
[thanks Harrisoni, for bringing this back from belgium]
Pours a great red-caramel mouthfeel. A giant, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has yeast, light raisins, berries and some viniousness. Fine, light creamy, mouthfeel. Flavour has light tartness, black vurrants, lightly roasted, fine yeast and good balance.
