Bov (4730), Bienne, Switzerland Oct 24, 2008 courtesy of Laurent Mousson - pale amber-bronze colour with a little persistent foam; phenolic with notes of oranges, lot of carbonation; strong sweetness and a strong malt body, tart and solidly bitter; fruity and malty finish with a spicy touch - I don’t like this yeast fonefan (5425), Ulfborg, Denmark Jun 1, 2008 Bottle. 75cl. Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, orange, moderate yeasty, brown sugar, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (180408) Scauca (285), Lovere, Italy Oct 24, 2007 Love the colour of that brew. Bright sunset. Thick foam. Good nut, caramel aroma, 2007 version has orange peel you could slightly notice in a mild warming ethilic fruity berry bouquet. Cannot perceive alcohol in mouth, satisfactory ale. omhper (10901), Stockholm, Sweden Mar 20, 2007 Bottled , 3 years old, thanks Jugge! Cloudy amber with lots of sediment. Aroma of raspberry and caramel. Dryish and medium, bodied with rounded malt character. Mild and fruity, some light oxidized caramelly flavours together with straberry and cream. A good, fairly mild beer. CamdenD (570), Madrid, Spain Dec 28, 2006 Nice hoppy nose to this beer as well as cloudy amber color encourage much anticipation. The taste and follow-through? Decent to good -- a bit syrupy and the hops seem to be disappear leaving not much at the end: not what I’m looking for in a winter "warmer."
