Used to drink 1.5l glass bottles of this stuff as it put you at the advantage if ever one got into a scrap down behind the rugby club. Now to be had by the local lass who dropped out of school at 16 works in a hairdressers and is looking for a BF who’ll get a council house sooner rather than later, and if that doesnt work she’ll tell him shes still on the pill and get pregnant so he’ll have to stay with her. This is the pre party drink on the weekly friday night with her friends while still in the house getting make up on and compairing dresses and complaining about the fact that since they have left school they seem to have doubled in size due to thier eating of so many pastries while at work. The stuff works a treat and gets them right in the moody for some good old man hunting down the local boozer. Same guyz same table drinking the same things and inevatably the same sh*ite banter. after 8-10 pints oif the forst lager these gents can get thier hands on and the ladies have done a good 6 double vodka’s, its time for some chat. Its the same chat as last weekend but they’re pished so it doesnt matter. After shes blagged some more free booze out of him its time for heading home home, but does he dare take it, it could mean all sorts of problems. He does in the end and aftyer a nite of fun? Which he remembers little of he goes out to nurse the hangover and is inevatbly bottled by the same drink that got this girl in the nick she was in she he could end up with her, by the guy she was with the weekend before. Local people eh! The drink itself is sweet and has no pear sign at all, over carbonated and rubbish.

Very weakly yellow pouer witha nice head filled with bubbles. Smells like fruit and reminds me of a mixed drink. A Growers or one of those pre-mixes you can get at the LCBO. Very sweet at first but mellows quickly finishing with just a hint of tartness. Really rather nice, though not a beer, so not sure how to rate it comparatively. There is a syrupy stickyness that no beer has that is a bit disconcerting.

Bottle. Very pale and pee-like. Aromas are sweet and sour with minimal pear. Dry with some chemical notes. Flavours are pear drop sweets with some acidicy followed by vomit-like stronger acidicy. Still, this remains the cheapest white "wine" you can buy.

This arrived unbidden at my house free, gratis and for nothing because the Chinese meal I had ordered cost more than twenty quid. Thought it was white wine. Drank some of it. Sweet and artificial. In a funny sort of way it went quite well with sweet and sour sauce.
