Dec 20, 2004 Mildly spicy hops play nicely with the caramel in the nose. Almost opaque amber-brown with decent, large-bubbled, off-white head that recedes to generous cover with some lacing. Caramel and toffee malt flavours dominate with a spicy hop flavour and decent balanced bitterness. Engaging carbonation on the tongue. On tap at the brewpub.

Dec 16, 2002 This is a crisp, bitter red pilsner. It has a resounding Saaz hop bitterness that plays well with the malt charcter of the beer. Quite a unique product in North America.
