Fin (2342), Merton, Oxfordshire, England May 14, 2007 Bottle picked up from Beers of Europe last month. Pours warm golden colour, and has a slightly sharp almost sour nose edging out the sweetness that could also be detected, I wondered whether this might in fact be a dodgy bottle but my concerns were put to one side as this turned out to be a fine Tripel. Tastes warm and spicey with yeasty flavours but was a touch on the sweet side, but otherwise a very nice beer.
xpimptastikx (8), Austin, Texas, USA does not count Sep 23, 2008 Light yellow orange and hazy. A small amount of white head that did not last long. A sweet and slightly hoppy taste, finished smooth. A very drinkable triple. Ober (376), Best, Netherlands Aug 13, 2008 A little hazy yellow/orange colored beer, with a nice white foamed head. The aroma of fruits, hop and some spices. The taste is little dry hoppines. Fruits like banana and some honey like. A little sweetness in the aftertaste. BoBoChamp (720), Gent, Belgium Jul 22, 2008 33cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex brew, not balanced, hazy, nearly no head, nice brew Lubiere (3324), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jul 22, 2008 A amber ale with a thick off white head. A rather sweet perfumey triple, with light white grapes notes. In mouth, a nice subtle sweet malt with light coriander and lemon notes, delicate, very nice. Bieropholie import. SilkTork (3909), Rochester, Kent, England Jun 14, 2008 330ml bottle from BeersOfEurope. A full bodied and fruity strong pale ale. Quite dry, but with some sweet flavours. Leather notes, and a sweaty perfume. A fine mousey carbonation tickles and delights but doesn’t intrude. A very pleasant beer, which feels quite delicate and light in spite of the strength. Nice one.
