Bottle courtesy of kramer17801 in six pack trade. Oily amber in color with minimal head. Aroma very muted sweet malt with hints of fruit. Flavor again sweet caramel malt with some fruit through the middle and back to a sweet malt finish. Strange metallic taste in the finish.

Hey, not bad here. I liked this because it had a nice flowery, hoppy finish. Probably could have used a bit more bitterness in it. Those crazy amish.

Bottle. Pours copper with a smallish white head. Fruit on the nose mixed with malt and floral scents. Not an overly hopped up APA, an IPA wannabe. Sweet apples with some bitterness in the finish. Not bad, maybe the best Lancaster I’ve had, but still somewhat diluted. 5 of 6 from Kramer17801.

12 oz Bottle Pours a cloudy gold with a good frothy off white head, which produces good lacing. Aroma is of sweet flowers and grain. Has a musty touch also. Taste is mild followed by sweet. Has an odd sweet bitter aftertaste, which I didn’t find very pleasing. This one misses for me.

Bottle from trade with jjpm74, Thanks John! Poured a cooper color with a slightly off-white head. Sweet aroma with fruits and lots of flowers. Had a sweet malt flavor with a bitter apple juice type background. Medium body with lively carbonation. A fairly decent pale.

12oz bottle- pours a 2 finger high, rich, rocky tan head with copper color. Aroma is grain with an edge that isn’t to my taste. Taste is a nicely balanced grain & hops. Creamy, a little bite, but generally mellow. Mild carbonation. Middle of class, enjoyable. Light/medium body. Ink stamped on bottom 5292A-11414.

From a locals trade with jjpm74. Thanks!<P>Pours clear amber with a fluffy white head. Aroma is quite mild, a touch sweet. Flavor is a touch of sweet caramel, a touch of bitterness, but that’s about it. Nothing to really complain about, but nothing really outstanding either.

(12 oz bottle: Obtained in trade with hopscotch, thanks Eric!) This is now my third attempt at rating this beer over the last few years, and it still doesn’t seem to come close to matching the notes I took for this back in the late 90s. I honestly do not like this type of flavor or aroma in beer. The flavor and nose are extremely fruity and floral to me, lots of red apple skins, peaches and perfume, and just a touch of bitterness. Medium bodied, but with a less carbonated mouthfeel than I expected. The reason for that expectation? This bottle is massively overcarbonated, just like the others, pouring a huge, billowing, off-white head that nearly overflows the glass with just a few ounces of beer poured. The coarse, ugly foam dissipates rapidly, but then holds a thin layer fairly well, leaving a few spots of bubbly foam on the glass. Ruddy amber color with quite a heavy haze nearly blocking from view the mass of carbonation bubbles rising toward the surface. I still have my doubts it’s supposed to taste like this, but I just got this bottle in the mail today, so I’m not going to waste my time and money on this beer any more.
