A light aroma with a little hoppiness and the flavor is dominated by hops but this is not an overwhelmingly hoppy beer. Very smooth and light, a sessionable beer.

Harrisburg Brewers Fest - What is that in the aroma? Seems funky and off. Could be infected. Very light in color with some bready malts. Don’t know if it was infected but DP.

Copying from tasting notes. Bottle. Poured an amber color with a small off white head. Aroma is grainy , malty and some very light hops. Taste is lots of grain, mild hops and some malt sweetness. Nothing mixed, everything was by itself. not good.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a nice amber-orange color with a creamy, off-white head. Smells like a mix of grains, sweet malt, a touch of caramel, light fruit, and floral notes. Medium-low carbonation with a medium mouthfeel. It has an unusual mix of flavors. Earth, honey, malt, wheat, bread dough, and an odd fruitiness. Medium finish with an odd mish mash of grain lingering on the palate. Instead of adding multiple layers of flavor, I feel like the grains are at odds against one another in this brew. Not a bad concept, but it needs fine tuning on the execution.

A decent and unique pale ale. Aroma was so so. Mostly earthy hops with not much else. Pour was a nice dark orange with a few bubbles and one finger white head. Taste was very sweet and malty with a hint of graininess and just a slight bitterness in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel was a little thick for my taste and could use a little more carbonation. Not bad, but nothing to write home about.

Very doughy beer which I actually loved. No absurd amount of hops crammed into this pale ale like so many other American style pales. Very drinkable and very delicious. Will definitely buy again.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Gilly’s, 4/5/09

Aroma: Light scent, some bread present
Appearance: Clearish orange/amber, thin head
Flavor: Light grainy sweetness, very minute hop flavor in the end palate
Palate: Light body, decent drink
Overall Impression: Not a bad pale, very bread and grain-like in the flavors/tastes, It’s a grain-like beer for sure.

Bottle. A nice simple pale ale. Aroma mostly grainy malts, light hint of hops. Poured a light amber. Flavor much the same as the aroma and the palate was light and clean. Glad it was more malt than hops.
