| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 14, 2008 Pours an average, fizzy, white head with fair lacing atop of a clear amber body. The aroma is average in hops, some citrus, and perhaps even some sweat to it. The flavor’s duration is average, being moderately sweet, acidic, and bitter with maybe a sour milk component. The body is medium with an alcoholic texture that has a metallic finish. Not a great beer and probably one that I wouldn’t drink unless handed at a party by a host whom I wouldn’t want to offend. Lancaster can do better and they should by ditching this beer and putting their efforts elsewhere. ReademNwheat (174), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 3, 2008 From a bottle. Pours an amberish color with little to no head. No much of a pale ale. Pretty bland and uninteresting. dancatts (91), Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 17, 2007 This one has the look and taste of an ale. Taste was very grainy, but not really too big on hops like other pale ales, which was refreshing and good. This one is very smooth and an easy drinker. JJClark (546), Roscoe, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 16, 2007 Bottle. Pours a orangish amber color with a thin off white head. Aroma of malt and light hops. Hint of caramel and herbs. Taste is pretty much the same. Easy to drink without a lot of complexity. Slipstream (780), USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 24, 2007 So the Amish make this beer? I thout the Amish didn’t drink beer. If so, it shows here. This is supposedly a pale ale, but the hops are so lite that it tastes more like an amber or lager. Pleasantly bitter and with a clean finish - drinkable, but not worth seeking out. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 17, 2007 sudzy, soapy, zesty and tangy. lemony and sour citrus it is unbalanced with a metal taste to it. i personally could not imagine drinking more than two at a time. there is a mild hoppy facet to it. quite a nice malty and grainy (as WeLL AS strawlike) strong backbone that really saves this beer. mildly sweet and less than mild caramel butterscotch flavor that also is spicy and a bit interesting. the body is thinnish with a strong flavor pattern than makes it seem like more as body goes. the beer exzudes purity and realness. not bad.
