I like pale ales, but this is just horrible. I can’t even explain the bitterness it has. I’d rather lick a 9 volt battery to get a better flavor of bitterness.

Light orange in colour, slight haze. White frothy head, with good retention. Complex malt tatse with a relative amout of bitterness following. Finishes crisp with slight bitterness lingering. Overall a decent brew.

12oz bottle. Unpasteurized and hazy. Amber golden hue. Moldy white head. Grainy bready caramel malts in the nose. Touch of a fruity aroma. Rather lively in the mouth. Notes of caramel and a crisp maltiness. Fruity citrus underlying flavors. Flavorful yeasty note. Finish is bitter but not overpowering. Layered malt palate. Bright yet subtly muted. Soapy hops. Below average.

Bottle from my secret santa. Light sweet scent and an almost sour aroma. Murky golden brown witha huge head. Thin palate--even for a pale. I have no idea how this could be rate above a 3 overall--but that’s just my opinion. To me this seriously tastes like the water that comes from my well and has nothing else to offer in the way of flavor. Terrible beer.

Very average beer that I obtained in part of my sample pack. Not much else to say that hasn’t been said. Not bad by any means, just nothing I would buy a case of.
