Pours a cola brown body with a small beige head that retained as a thin ring. The nose is cocoa and light dry dusty roasted malt. A little bit of licorice and coffee as well. Pretty bitter for a Baltic Porter, and there’s quite a heavy roast flavor for such a light colored beer. Lots of dry roasted grain with coffee and very dark bitter molassas. A little lighter bodied with a dry finish and a slightly husky grainy courseness. Overall, this was a fairly decent drink, but it didn’t really jive too well with the style for me. It lacked the smoothness most notably that I expect from a Lager. corby112 (706), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Roasted malt, toasted nose with much of the same in the flavor department. It simply was not rich enough for me. JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
