on tap-pours a light tan head and mahogany color. Aroma is roasty dark malt. Taste is roasty dark malt-chocolate/caramel, secondary hops bitterness. Nice. Mild carbonation.

Not as good as the real baltic porters made in the baltic, but this was still pretty decent. Dark colour, body seemed a tad thin. Bit of a roast aroma. Tad roast in flavour.

Draft at the brewpub. Deep brown color with ruby edges and tan head. The aroma is roasty malty and chocoffy. The flavor is roasted dark malty, with hints of dark chocolate, coffee, and a very slight rauchy finish. Notably complex and well balanced for this style.

On tap. My first Baltic-style porter. Opaque garnet in color, which surprised me - I was expecting something darker. Not too much aroma, but hints of chocolate/mocha up front. Very, very nice. A very enjoyable brew.

Pours darker brown with a small tan head. Feint aroma of coffee and chocolate. A little more hop in the taste thatn I had expected. Still mostly dominated by a roasted coffee and dark chocolate flavor. Nice warming feel also without a strong alcohol taste. Very enjoyable porter.

Draught @ Brewery: Poured cloudy dark brown/ruby color with average white head, that lasted for a while then diminished. Excellent Lacing. Smelled of roast and choclate. Malty flavors of molasses, choclated, and nuts, with resiny ops, and a bit of smoke. Easy to drink. Medium body with cremy, texture, and lively carbination. Overall, a pretty good porter.

Clean and flavorful porter - but not quite at the level that I would call a true "Baltic Porter." Sweet, with hints of caramel & roasted malt and a bit of licorice.

Medium brown appearance that is a little transparent. Fair sized head with some lacing. Sweet malt aroma with a hint of butterscotch. Nutty, malty taste with a medium-bodied mouthfeel. Clean finish.
