Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Merchants Inn, Rugby. A black beer with of-white wisps. The aroma has coffee and caramel. Good roasty coffee flavours with a little balancing sweetness. A nice body and good flavours. Enjoyed it.

May 25, 2008 Cask conditioned at FFTMC, Oxford 24-05-08 Pours black with off white creamy head. Aroma was the one thing that I think was lacking in this beer maybe some roasted notes but very subtle. Good woody roastedness with some residual sweetness in there, quite simple but quite nice.
