Aroma of bright grapefruit hops, some malt and a tiny bit of sweetness. Light-bodied; Bright assertive hoppiness with malt very noticeable and a slight drying feeling. Aftertaste bright and short-lived. Overall, a decent pils, nothing special-just mild all-around. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia on 28-August-2004 at the Eastern Shore of Virginia. argo0 (6907), Washington DC, USA

Taste is moderately sweet, herbal, light pepper. Medium body with low carbonation that overcomes any crispness that might otherwise be there. Nose bready and malty, a few hops. Starts with a nice malt character but dies off a bit quick, hops don’t back it up. A bit thin." Also, there was a somewhat strange flavor that I honestly can’t quite describe.? MilkmanDan (1940), Eagan, Minnesota, USA

Faint lemony aroma, doesn’t bloom much when warmer. Very smooth, little bite, nice malty backbone but just not enough juice or bitterness; moderately sweet. 4/4/5/3/11=2.7
July 04: either I was high a few months ago, or got a bad sample. The pint I had a week ago was full, juicy, wonderfully fresh and grassy/herbal, with a lovely and perfectly balanced finishing tang...this is one of the best Pils out there when fresh, no question.
