Nose held notes of spicy German hops, some floral and lemony notes, with a hint of white bread. Spicy hop flavors up front, dried citrus and touches of grass throughout. Light bodied, soft carbonation, drying spicy hop finish. Easy drinking, but not worthy of going out of your way for... hershiser2 (914), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 4, 2005 Bottle. Pours golden amber with a very large head. It looks nice and refreshing. Aroma is very pleasant for a pils. Some lush floral untertones mixed in with some citrus. Flavor is decent too (I’m not a huge pils guy). Stars slightly peachy almost and then lingers and transforms into a dryish lemongrasslike flavor. Pretty damn hoppy as well... hey, nothin wrong with that! One of the better pilseners I’ve sampled. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 26, 2005 Lightly cloudy amber color with a tall fluffy light beige head. Interesting aromas of light lemony malt. Mild herbal hops also in the nose. Light and zippy on the palate. Actually too zippy. Light vanilla and pale malt flavors. Just not a lot to this one. A light thin american pilsner. Thanks to IMtheOptimator for the brew. pbjclimber (150), Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 20, 2005 I had this on tap at the brewery. It has a slightly hoppy flavor with a hint of citrus in it. This is not a very complex beer and nothing that I would go out of my way to get. TomDecapolis (3171), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 15, 2005 On tap at the brewery. Poured a clear light golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very light. Some grass and grain with a little bit of hops. The palate is smooth and dry with some light hops. Decent pilsner...would pick this over any of the Coors and Miller products for sure. IMtheOptimator (1161), Bethel, Connecticut, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 10, 2005 Poured golden and effervescent with a semi-creamy off-white head. Aroma of mild hops and granny-smith apples. Taste is dry and bitter with a touch of lemon. Fizzy body. One-dimensional, somewhat boring, and not as refreshing as it could be. 5000 (2409), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 8, 2005 Bottle: Golden in color, slight haze, large white rocky head, pancake batter like lacing, barely any carbonation.   Very pale malt aroma, even softer hint of apple or pear skin.   Similar tongue, very clean.   Body and mouthfeel are fairly average.   Finish falls a little flat.   Not bad, but neither bad nor exceptional.   Clean, but rather boring.

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Sep 19, 2005 Golden color with almost no head. Very pronounced herbal, grassy hop aromas are delightful. Just enough malt and body to make it interesting and light enough to be a first-rate thirst quencher. Crisp and dry on the palate, with the hop components clearly dominating, but not overwhelming. A first rate pilsner.
