Draft. Pours the color of pulp-included grapefruit juice, with a great aroma with banana, clove, bubblegum, and hopcitrus. The flavor starts citric, then thrown the bubblegum, banana, and spices at you, in that order (at leats that was the order for my tongue). Smooth and crisp at the finish, this one got growlered by me.

Very authentic hefeweizen. Color is cloudy orange. Aroma is of yeast and fruit. The flavor is classic hefe, with a full complement of vainilla, banana and cloves flavor. Squarely in the classic German style.

Solid opaque orange-yellow with the classical banana aromas. Nice 'chunky' and yeasty beer with fruity flavors. It's a pretty authentic to Deutsch weizens.

Draft @ Gibraltar in Lancaster...Hazy golden hue with a pronounced banana/wheat nose. Fruit, cloves and yeast on the palate. Perfect balance, moderate white head and ideally carbonated. Just great on a hot day...An excellent hefe!!!

Sample at the brewpub. Completely opaque, hazy gold, bit of head. Wonderful aroma that is banana-dominant but also contains hints of apple, caramel and cloves. Soft but chewy body...bananas, apples, lemons...thick and full. Definitely one of the best American hefes I’ve sampled, top-notch.

sampled this at the h-burg brew fest. i’m pretty sure this was the one at least. One of the better beers that was in the VIP tent. Did have a bit of a banana smell. went down smooth with a great taste. Went back form some more but the keg was kicked so had to drink some wierd apricot beer instead.

I had this on tap at the brewery and the beer had an aroma of cloves, banana, and lemon. It poured a hazy yellow and the head dissapated quickly. The flavor is of cloves, bananas, and lemon. The first batch of this beer brewed in 2005 lacked some of the banana flavor and the second one had a much more pronounced flavor.

Hazy straw colored brew with an absent head. Aromas of bananas, clove, coriander, yeast, and lemon. Nice, hefty body with a pronounced yeasty component. Very solid American hefe.
