Golden copper with tight off white head that quickly dissipates leaving no lacing to speak of. Aroma of hops and citrus. Flavors of yeast in the front palate, strong pine in the mid and a mild malty finish. Huge bitter kick in the middle, like chewing on foliage - and not in a good way - but it’s just a punch and then...gone. Not one of the greatest IPA’s I’ve ever had and wouldn’t go out of my way for it, but would be easy enough to drink on a hot, muggy day. epf33 (222), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Feb 19, 2008 Nice clear copper color with egg shell color head. Sweet caramel aroma with bright hoppy bouquet. This is a solid IPA. Sweet and bitter, hides the high alcohol content well. Goodgrief (1161), Middletown, Delaware, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 16, 2008 Updated: Aug 2, 2008Dec. 2006 - Wow...I really liked this! Copper colored pour with two finger head. Aroma was caramel and floral hops. Flavor was sweet and malty with caramel and a nice floral hop bitterness with citrus undertones. Super smooth mouthfeel, almost tasted like on draft. Not overly bitter, but well balanced. I was really into this!
Aug. 2008 - Not as impressive as in my beer infancy. Lots of caramel, some toast and a touch of diacetyl and very mild hopping. Very much more an amber ale than an IPA. dmtroyer (415), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 15, 2008 12oz. Mostly sweet malt and caramel in the nose, body is similar. Not as much hops as I would have expected. Fairly drinkable, widely distributed and very affordable here on the east coast. sinkr (241), Lusby, Maryland, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 14, 2008 Bottle->tulip: Pours a large, frothy, white head atop of a clear dark amber body. The aroma is heavy in perfumy hops with a bit of spruce, and grapefruit in there as well. The flavor has an average duration, is moderately sweet, acidic and bitter. The body is light and thin with some carbonation, and an astringent aftertaste. Not a bad IPA and one of the cheaper and easier to come by on the east coast. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 3, 2008 From a bottle. Pours a mber with white head. Citrus in the aroma. Taste is more citrusy hops . Nothin to special about this IPA. Easy to drink but not much of a unique flavor. Funknmilla (604), Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 27, 2007 Cloudy reddish gold, pretty with a beige fluffy head....aroma is sweet, a fresh orange-apple blend--undertones of lemon....body is medium to light and refreshing....subtle citrus notes, more apple for some reason....unusual for an IPA....good though...not much else going on here....fresh and clean, you know what I mean?
