Commercial Description:
Our hoppiest beer to date! This formidable India Pale Ale has a hop aroma that demands attention. The bold, citrus hop flavor is balanced by a dry malt character that makes this refreshing ale a true classic.

Pours a dark amber, almost exactly the same color as the label. Smell is somewhat fruity mixed with a vegetable aroma. No taste of hops at all. I m not sure this should even be referred to as an IPA.

While by no means the greatest beer in the world. This is definitley one of my favorites.

12oz bottle, take home from LBC...pours dark amber, light beige head...smell of sweet toasty hops, faint flowery citrus...taste of hops, citrus and brown sugar...alcohol is well hidden...not your typical IPA but mighty tasty in my opinion. I like this one.

Bottle (12oz). Shared with biegaman and blankboy, biegaman’s bottle. Clear amber, average diminishing head. Aroma - woah! - stale caramel, very stale leafy hops - wants to be sweet, settles for somewhat burnt. Taste - generic dry bitterness, diacetyl, paper, bitter burnt finish - seems like it might be old, but supposedly not. Sticky body, astringent and syrupy mouthfeel, not pleasant aftertaste - not what I’d think of as an IPA, but I’ll take their word for it.

at first you will note a quality hop taste. in quick order you shall have to search for it. a fruity berry taste slowly works it’s way in and clearly asks the hop head to move on. the palate is just barely good enough for the 4 and i could easily take it away. not very good comments from a hop head about an ipa. the beer is slick and i think sly it is a well made but lacking ipa (in some areas) although the strawberry is inventive.

Bottle. Aroma of citric hops profile. Poured a copperish orange hue. Flavor very tasty a nice reminder of how an IPA should taste. Palate was nicely balance between the sweet and bitter hops. Overall a delight to drink and another reminder that local brewers make good stuff too.

Pours copper orange and shows a large head. The IPA shows a citrus hop nose and those flavors decend on the palate in a nice balanced manner with the bitterness. It does drink very smooth!

coppery orange with a medium head...fruity aroma with some orange...weak hoppiness ...more of a fruity flavor..very disappointing IPA
