Dec 16, 2006 Bottle.Butterscotch all the way around. Undrinkable! The only thing nice about this beer is the area where it is brewed. Harsh review, but I gotta look in the mirror. Down the drain with this and I’m sure I have a Stoudt’s APA to clense the palate!

Dec 7, 2006 Hzay gold. sweet hoppy citrus malt all around with some dusty "powdered sugar hops" in the finish. Good stuff.

Dec 2, 2006 Sampled with Beerdrenched. I wish I wouldn’t have gotten more than one bottle of this disaster. Pours dark amber with a light off-white head. The aroma is a huge bunch of butterscotch diacetyl - I didn’t want to taste it at this point, but need to do that to get some rating in. Medium bdoy with semi-sharp carbonation. The taste predictable is like the aroma. The finish gets a touch bitter. Time to find the drain to pour this thing in. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with my other bottle.

Nov 27, 2006 GBof A PA-on tap-pours an off white head and gold color. Aroma is medium hops-citrus-sweet, malt. Taste is medium hops-citrus-sweet malt. Taste doesn’t quite measure up to aroma. OK carbonation.

Nov 26, 2006 bottle-thanks (?) to Vyvvy for the sample of this one. Ok, let me start off by saying that this beer is an absolute trainwreck. dark amber hue with a fluffy off-white head. nose is total butterscotch diacytl all over this one. earthy bitterness and diacytl dominate the flavors. biting carbonation on the tongue with a fizzy mouthfeal. man, this is bad all around. Where the hell does this get a decent rating?

Nov 21, 2006 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Hazy amber golden with a small, off-white head. Fresh aroma of citrus and some sweet caramel. Medium body with sweet notes of caramel and some odd chewing gum notes. A moderate bitterness - the sweetness prevails. Courtesy of xproudfoot - thanks Chris.181106

Nov 19, 2006 A light amber beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet hoppy though with a hint of acidity - a light aroma for an IPA. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of fruit and caramel, as well as a slight acidic note. Somewhat boring.

Nov 15, 2006 Bottle. Poured an orangey amber with a moderate light an head, that laced lightly. A fairly strong hoppy aroma with assertive malt presence. Fairly sweet in flavor from the noticeable malty presence, but this just makes it sort of sugary to me contrasted with the bitter hops that have to fight to assert themselves in the finish which is not particularly bitter, and does not have that characteristic IPA feel to me. Very smooth, with a full body. Decent, but not what I was hoping for.
