Oct 29, 2006 Poured with lost of amber color, decent head and lacing. The aroma was of citrus, strong malty sweet aromas of caramel. Flavor was hopped, as expected, but this thing was thick and malty underneath, lots of sweet caramel and citrus notes, light pine. Came across as a weak dIPA more than a malty or strong IPA. That being said, it wasn’t impressive, not a lot going on, but not bad.

Oct 22, 2006 Very hoppy,just the way ipa’s are supposed to taste.Nice dark brown looking beer.They hide the strong alcohol content of this beer.Worth a try.

Oct 22, 2006 Updated: Apr 3, 2007Darkish amber color (at least for an IPA). Strong hop aroma. Plenty of hops in the taste with deep malty taste to back it up. Pretty strong for a standard (non imperial) IPA. Only downside is that a wild pig on the botlle doesn’t make me want to drink it.

Oct 22, 2006 Updated: Jun 5, 2007This is an IPA given me by a friend. The color a dark amber with some haziness and a very large head. The citrus flavors were very evident. This is good IPA. Very balanced with a mediun body. This is good one. I purchased a 6 pack at Krogers in June 2007. The first one went down smoothly. Still not very bitter or with citrus flavors

Oct 21, 2006 Drank with Stegosaurus and Beereded_one at Newton brew fest. Pours a hazy amber color with nice white head(good retention) Right away you notice HOPS int he aroma. The taste is never too bitter , they blended the sweet and bitter just right. Not a bad brew.

Oct 6, 2006 Bottle from xproudfoot. Cloudy deep orange body, thin-medium off-white head. Bready, caramely aroma with piney, citrusy, bitter hops, past their prime. Sweet, caramely, bready body, stale yeast, and the remnants of west coast hops yielding the last of their pines and grapefruit rinds. No way is this 7.9% ABV. Probably fairly boring even fresh.

Oct 3, 2006 A decent beer; fairly big punch to it-- alcohol was surprisingly less-evident than I thought it would be. Probably should have allowed it to return a bit closer to room temperature, but it’s tough to compare when i’ve got some Middle Ages IPA waiting for me in the cooler.

Sep 20, 2006 Bigger nad bolder then the last IPA I had,a tad on the sweet side, big malt hop combination in the taste,pine and grain and some sweetness emphsized, not bad at all
