Commercial Description:
Our hoppiest beer to date! This formidable India Pale Ale has a hop aroma that demands attention. The bold, citrus hop flavor is balanced by a dry malt character that makes this refreshing ale a true classic.

This was a really enjoyable IPA. Very thick grassy aroma, and a flavor that was heavily dominated by lemon. Cascade hops shine in this IPA.

Dark amber, High hop aroma, piny flowery and sweet. Taste is through the roof, hops balanced very nice and not too sweet. Finishes fruity and not too bitter. Good to meduim palate. One of the best Lancaster has to offer. A definate must try.

Poured dark amber which is unusual in an IPA. The bartender poured the beer too fast so I will not take off points for the lack of head in this beer. Aroma had apple, citrus, graitfruit, caramel, grain and toffee. The apple was quite unique as was the grassy taste. The palate was very smooth and the alcohol was very well hidden. Nice graitfruit and caramel finish.

Poured a clear amber with a creamy white head. Clean hop aroma: pine, grapefruit, a touch of grass. Taste is mostly hops though somewhat dull, very little malt up front, and acidic lemon juice. This last flavor really put me off... tasted like it didn’t belong, or was unintentional (though it didn’t taste like an infection). Touch of toffee in the finish. Good body. Great potential, but the acidity really clashed.

(12oz bottle) Crystal clear amber body with medium off-white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is fairly strong, moderately sweet, grapefruit, pineapple, light caramel. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit, caramel, pineapple, floral, some spice. Pretty bitter. Smooth medium-full body, some resin, light chalk, acidity. The alcohol and sweetness are a bit strong for the style, seems midway to an IIPA. No complaints though, as this is definitely my favorite Lancaster so far.

Initially a very intense hop aroma, along with a light fruity aroma (?). A golden copper in color with a decent head, and very clear with moderate carbonation. A light-to-medium hop bitterness that does not linger. A smooth bodied mouthfeel along with the moderate carbonation leaves a slight but dry sensation in the back of the mouth. A good, somewhat bitter amercian pale ale.

Thanks to Matt for bringing this beauty. It pours to a huge hop oil aroma atop a citrus and pine. Light caramel malt. The body is a brilliant copper with a medium white head with some good lacing. The flavor is malty and hoppy. Nice bitterness. The palate is bitter, medium full, stupendous
