Commercial Description:
Our hoppiest beer to date! This formidable India Pale Ale has a hop aroma that demands attention. The bold, citrus hop flavor is balanced by a dry malt character that makes this refreshing ale a true classic.

Very nicely balanced. Maybe not as hoppy as some others but still has a hop bit to counter the sweet malts. Reminds me a little of Dogfish Head’s 60 minute.

Not that hoppy. But a decent IPA. Kind of light for an IPA. Noticed some maltiness. Not really a good example of the style. Wouldn’t go out of my way.

12oz bottler from Vintage Cellar. Kinda mediocre IPA I thought. It did have a nice hops bite to it but that was about it. It just didn’t seems to flow together. I will re-rate at a later time, but for now it just didn’t excite me, but then again, I have been into sours and my palate for IPA’s have declined.

Tap at brewpub: Pretty good IPA, very fruity hop character and a well-hidden ABV other than the lack of head. One of the few standouts from LBC.

Wow! Almost 8% really? Could have fooled me. Anyway, bottle from Beerman6686. Aromas of floral and piney hops with a touch of citrus and some caramel. Orange in color with no head. Flavors of some caramel and pale malts backed with a moderate hop profile that is somewhat floral and citrus like. A little pine lingers. The carbonation might be a little big too.

Bottle. Quick dissipating head. Smooth for an IPA. Not very lively, hops were not overpowering, just right I thought. Decent IPA.

Tap at the brewpub. Deep amber beer. Aroma is awesome, bright orange/grapefruit citrus, tropical mango and even a bit of peachiness. All of those flavours come out nicely as well, playing off of a light pale malt base. A kiss of caramel sweetness. Moderate bitterness on the back with very low cohumulones, making it nice and smooth. Lingering mango and a faint kiss of pine. Really tasty IPA.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a thin tan head. Aroma is sweet malt, possibly caramel. Taste is a little bitter with a cloying sweetness and some noticeable citrus. Very drinkeable and not bad overall.
