Fin (2570), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Dec 8, 2008 Bottle, actually no this was on tap as I recall at The Devils Alley, Philadelphia 17-11-08 Described as ‘Being brewed with ‘seven different types of hop, gives this medium bodied IPA a distinctive bite’ This beer poured mid amber with really good clarity. Another beer that was served a little too cold for my liking and so the expected hoppy nose was blunted somewhat. The first taste is well really lovely hops but you can tell that there are a number of different types all lending their own characteristics. There is a heavy perfumey taste and also a slightly numbing taste coming from this beer, I liked this beer but as it wasn’t mine it was quite swiftly taken back by Loz. Flavor is full of bittersweet cascade hops- but not overdone by any means. In fact, it’s nicely balanced- with a hint of tasty malts. A very nice beer.
