May 14, 2004 Sample at the brewpub. Light, bright ruddy orange, good lacing; citrusy, slightly nutty aroma...ringwood..more bitter than usual, not enough heft, ehhhh.

Jan 24, 2004 Updated: Feb 24, 2005clear, copper-reddish color with a smooth light head that was slow to depart. Just a bit hoppy for a brown ale but that didn’t bother me at all.

Jul 29, 2002 Slightly weak malty aroma with a hint of hops. Clear copper brown, with very little head. Light smooth carb in a medium-light body. Very hopped and bitter, almost like an IPA. Good nutty after. Very enjoyable beer, though I though a bit too bitter for the style.
