The taste actually takes a little time to develop in the mouth. The aroma isn’t overbearing, and neither is the taste. It has a soothing, pleasantly spicy taste. However, the taste stops there. There is little to speak of in terms of after-taste.
This brew slides across the tongue so easily that one might feel disappointed by the lack of diversity in its flavor.
Makes for a nice growler fill to share with others, but any more than one pint per person will bore the palette. Nejhleader (930), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA

Hops are present in moderation and are very pleasant tasting. Very enjoyable. It’s a shame this isn’t as widely available as the other lancaster brews; frankly more than half of the lancaster brews are mediocre: this one stands out as a good beer, but I haven’t seen it anywhere but the brewpub. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 12, 2008 Tap at the brewpub. Very pale golden straw colour. Pale pils malt that is pretty expressive really. Soft floral hoppiness that really comes through on the back of the palate as well. Fresh malt base. It’s a pretty solid take on the style. axilla (962), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA

I do have to say, though... this is a tasty lager. Harmonious amounts of hops and malts make this brew a definate winner. I finally found a lager I really like. I’m friends with one of the guys that work in the brewery and he told me that this batch was brewed a little different than normal. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 27, 2006 Draft. Medium gold pour with medium head. Aroma of hopcit, honey, apricot. The flavor was hopcitris, but maintained a sweet, fruity taste, with some honey in the finish. This one is medium on the palate, and notably complex for this style. jcwattsrugger (5581), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
