beerguy717 (17), , USA Dec 11, 2003 Good, Refreshing & Clean...On the light side, but far superior to mass marketed gunk. I had it on tap after drinking a Molson and it hit the spot! cazort (340), San Diego, California, USA Aug 20, 2005 Updated: Oct 13, 2005Nice body, very balanced. Not much aroma. Hops are present in moderation and are very pleasant tasting. Very enjoyable. It’s a shame this isn’t as widely available as the other lancaster brews; frankly more than half of the lancaster brews are mediocre: this one stands out as a good beer, but I haven’t seen it anywhere but the brewpub. Nejhleader (779), Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 10, 2005 pretty nice drink. Had a sweet taste to it. Reminded me of Troegs sunshine pilsner. It was kinda thin, but overall not to shabby. JoeMcPhee (3671), Jackson Heights, New York, USA May 12, 2008 Tap at the brewpub. Very pale golden straw colour. Pale pils malt that is pretty expressive really. Soft floral hoppiness that really comes through on the back of the palate as well. Fresh malt base. It’s a pretty solid take on the style. axilla (942), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 24, 2004 Updated: Jan 7, 2007Being from the Lancaster area and being bombarded with the local favorite lager all my life (if you’re from the area you’ll know what I’m reffering to), I am not a lager guy. I do have to say, though... this is a tasty lager. Harmonious amounts of hops and malts make this brew a definate winner. I finally found a lager I really like. I’m friends with one of the guys that work in the brewery and he told me that this batch was brewed a little different than normal.
