JoeMcPhee (3615), Jackson Heights, New York, USA May 12, 2008 Tap at the brewpub. Very pale golden straw colour. Pale pils malt that is pretty expressive really. Soft floral hoppiness that really comes through on the back of the palate as well. Fresh malt base. It’s a pretty solid take on the style.
Jayb0 (685), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA May 29, 2008 Tap at brewpup: some unexpected fruitiness up front, color somewhat dark, mildly spicy finish, not what I expected from a pale lager. just ok. alexanderj (1186), Roanoke, Virginia, USA Aug 2, 2007 Tap at the brewpup; nothing to complex or amazing, but pretty solid flavor for the style. Mostly grain and malt, but with a slight hop bitterness at the end. can8ianben (573), Pasadena, California, USA Jul 2, 2007 Meh, it’s a pretty standard lager, however it does have a nice spicy bite that makes it a little more complex than your standard macro lager. Crisp, clear, and corny. highspire (4), lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA does not count Jun 7, 2007 if they didn’t only sell their beer at LBC, i’d probably have a Yuengling Lager over a $4 pint of this. metallic. watery. bit too florally. thin. fizzy. there we go! pomp this brew up with some milk stout-esque marketing.
