| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 30, 2006 Updated: Dec 27, 2006My first milk stout but my third sweet stout. Not too much aroma. For some reaon I was expecting a somewhat sweeter brew. I guess stout is stout, milk or sweet, it still has a background bitterness to it. Had a very slight sense of smokeyness or burnt background in there. This stout is mild compared to the bitterness of Lion stout. Overall it is not an offensive brew. Has a roasty linger on the finish that lasts for a while. IrishBoy (2719), Bakersfield, California, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 29, 2006 Deep, Deep Brown, almost black pour with a thin lighter brown head that dissapated quickly. Unique hints in the aroma, mostly roasted malts....But there is a not quite coffee, not quite chocolate, not quite molassas hint. Very Pleasent, needs to be a bit bolder in the aroma. Weak nose on this, medium bodied. The malts are quite over powering after nose until finish. A slight coffee flavor. the Finish is slow and leaves a slight aftertaste. Pleasent, not the best sweet stout I’ve had, but good.

However, it’s not as strong as I would have liked. It has a good feel. Almost as smooth as a glass of milk. zebracakes (1216), Washington DC, USA
