Black color and a thin little head remaining on top. Aroma is coffee mostly, but smells a bit off, perhaps due the the lactose. Flavor is tastey, smooth, but not overly impressive. The end of the mouthfeel leaves the beer with a somewhat chalky feel. Not a bad beer, but nothing special.

bottle via RichlikeBeer. poured the same color brown as the bottle it came in, with a quickly disappearing tan head. nice stout aromas and flavors but it’s too thin. I don’t wxactly want to chew my beer, but at least a medium mouthfeel helps to make a stout in my book.

Pours an inky black with minimal head. Aroma is somewhat bitter, with notes of coffee and chocolate. Ho hum so far. The flavor is great, however. Very smooth, almost creamy feel, chocolatey and sweet. Tasty beer.

Thanks for the hook up civforprez. Poured a deep black with a rather large dark tan head. The aroma is sweetend coffee and milk chocolate. Hints of earthy nuts. The taste is milk with nuts and a light coffee. This is smooth and interesting, but I don’t think I would want a lot of it.

Not my favorite in the stout family but this was a nice rendition.Dark black pour with some good burnt malt flavors hitting before the sourness.

thx to herbjones for sharing I’m not a big fan of milk stouts. However, this one is a good example of the style: lactic, slightly sweet and easy drinking. moo

Dark black, taste is sweet and fairly easy to drink. Some taste of coffee, but not particularly strong or bitter. Fairly drinkable, would consider picking up again.

Willblake sent this fine brew. Possibly this was beginning to sour when I tried it. The pour was all gushy foam with a smoky slightly sour aroma. The flavor had lots of chocolate with a chalky mouthfeel. Somewhat like a Porter or Brown Ale.
