Really nice beer. Smells like light organic coffee milk. Looks ok. Taste of light coffee, dairy, and roasted barley with a slight caramel finish. Mouthfeel is what brings this guy down, if it were better this would be an awesome beer. Still a great session stout. 2008 12 oz.

Bottle at the black and white party december 2005. Pours a black body with a tan head. Very sweet lactose body with a mild chocolate and a roasty dry finish. decent.

Smooth, malty, toasted cereal stout aroma. Inky, fun label, creamy tan head. Pasty, balanced roast, baked pecans and cashews. Dry. Butffered. Satisfying mouthfeel, though there was a wet paper element to it. A little grassiness in the finish.

pitch black with reddish head that leaves quickly, smells of roasted malts and chocate slight alcohol smell when warmer. A toasted nutty base topped with more like bakesrs choclate than hops. really great beer made in the land of the amish.

12 ounce bottle. Good subtly sweet aroma, not too overpowering. Nice chocolate coffee flavor with a bit of a bitter aftertaste that lingered for a while in a good way. I liked this one. Would buy again

12 oz bottle; Typical sweet stout aroma with hints of coffee. The ’sweet’ is the first sensation you get when drinking this beer and is probably what turned me off slightly. The finish is much better with chocolate and coffee notes that unsweeten the beer overall. Decent beer but not my favorite style of stout.

Deepest ruby in color, when held up to the autumn sun. Short head dissloving to a thin ring rather quickly, leaving no traces. Lightly aromatic, of roasted and chocolate malts. Flavor has an earthy bittersweet quality, dark chocolate bitterness overlaying the lactose component, just a little sour(?). Adequate but not powerful flavor, lightly carbonated, rather thin body. Easily drinkable, a decent stout.

Very nice stout. I guess it did have a hint of milk or lactose in there but it was just a good solid stout. A nice chocolate and coffee kind of finish to it.
