ndfreak77 (76), USA Feb 2, 2008 Bottle! Pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. A very tasty stout beer with a sweet, creamy flavor with a mild mocha coffee finish. Mild hop flavor mixed in. Very good.
brew4fun (136), West Virginia, USA Nov 1, 2008 Deepest ruby in color, when held up to the autumn sun. Short head dissloving to a thin ring rather quickly, leaving no traces. Lightly aromatic, of roasted and chocolate malts. Flavor has an earthy bittersweet quality, dark chocolate bitterness overlaying the lactose component, just a little sour(?). Adequate but not powerful flavor, lightly carbonated, rather thin body. Easily drinkable, a decent stout. smjohnst (175), , Pennsylvania, USA Oct 27, 2008 Very nice stout. I guess it did have a hint of milk or lactose in there but it was just a good solid stout. A nice chocolate and coffee kind of finish to it. daknole (1024), Plantation, Florida, USA Oct 26, 2008 Bottle from machfive55, thanks! black pour, very small brown head that doesnt last. Aroma is chocolate and malts. Flavor is quite sour, actually this bottle was the sourest molk stout I have ever tasted. I liked some of the chocolate and malt flavor, but the sourness got the best of me. WeeHeavySD (1999), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Oct 12, 2008 12oz I’ve had around for a while, via bonus via trade. Pours black with a light brown head. Nose is very roasty. Taste is roasty with big huge malts. Something about this is very nice but something about it isnt so appealing. KnN (338), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA Oct 9, 2008 Pours a nice dark brown with a thin off-white head. The aroma reminds me of caramel corn, kind of like cracker jacks. You can tell this one might be sweet. The flavor is more of the same. Caramel, malt, a little bit of roast. This is a tasty stout.
