Commercial Description:
This smooth brew ushers in Autumn with an invitingly tawny color complemented by an assertive maltiness. A noble crispness from German and Czech hops completes this very traditional lager-style beer.

Draft at Lancaster Brewing. A light amber color with minimal white head. A little sweet aroma, with a little citrus and malt. Flavor was crisp and balanced with a slight hop finish.

Pours a transparent orange amber with a spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of toasty grainy caramel malt and a touch of noble hops. Body starts with a decent authentic caramely malty sweetness and effervescent carbonation before a bittersweet, drier, peppery finish. Pretty true to style and drinkable.

Oct. 2007 - Clear chestnut color with quickly dissipating head. Toasty aroma. Flavor was toasty and sweet caramel, a bit too sweet, actually. Smooth mouthfeel was the best part of this one."

6-pack from the brewery...bottle pours amber in color with an off-white head...smell is mild, floral but sweet, malty...taste of malt, mild spice, caramel, light hops...kind of a cross between their Amish 4 Grain and Hop Hog.
