Poured copper in color with a med-sized, fizzy, off-white head that diminished. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is neither sweet nor bitter. Tastes very malty with notes of sourdough, noble hops, nuts and salt. Light to medium body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Malty, salty finish. Kind of a weak Oktoberfest, especially in the body. bfeldmann (1042), Wilmington, Delaware, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 12, 2007 KSBF07. Pour was amber in color, weak head. Aroma was woodsy (I got on a woodsy kick at this fest?), toasted caramel. The flavor was toasted caramel, light nuts, woodsy, and a weird spicey hoppy almost burnt type blended aftertaste, odd. Not a great example of the style. pforei (338), USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 30, 2007 Blah. A subpar Oktoberfest. I call it that because I live in PA and have a bias. Aroma was nil. Pour was a too light gold with a thin white ring for a head. Taste was like a vienna except not much malt. Not much anything for that matter. cheapdark (2037), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Sep 28, 2007 Nice label. Clear orange colored iced tea. Aroma hints of a stronger alky brew. Spicy strong flavor impact. More personality without bitter offense, compared to other fests. Almost has the personality of some pumpkin beers I’ve had. Creamy carbonation makes its presence known. Mouth filling flavors in every swig. Finish is impact of spice and industrial malt alky thickness. Instead of a sharp back of throat focused bitterness, this seems to coat the whole mouth with a slightly less bitter level. jehoey (766), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 27, 2007 This beer has a medium body with a slightly creamy texture. It is a very soft beer for an Okktoberfest with a smooth finish. This beer has a nice aroma with a bit of a smokey finish. An enjoyable local Oktoberfest (I live in PA).
