| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 9, 2008 Bottle. Amber pour. Aroma is fruity, earthy with light caramel, rye and sweet malts. Taste is malty, semi-sweet, mild sourness/tartness, slightly hoppy, more earthiness and some soft grains. Rye is there but not overbearing. Body is medium with a creamy carbonation. Ends with more caramel, toasted and semi-sweet malts, soft earth and fruit and rye grains. The tartness fades here as well. Good stuff! Miver (572), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 7, 2008 Wasn’t too impressed with this. It did have a nice darker color for a summer beer but it had almost a sour taste to it. Lancaster Brewing company is really hit or miss. nuplastikk (1212), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 2, 2008 12oz bottle. Filtered tan color. Cream soda sweet aroma. Sweet and malty, with the rye flavor coming through almost like sorghum. The moderate hopping balances it enjoyably enough, making it at least a decent session beer. cheapdark (2026), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 2, 2008 Fresh yeasty aroma, nothing offensive on the olfactory. Brownish pale yellow, almost orange, but not quite. Nice release of carbonation when I pop open the bottle. Aroma goes candy sweet in the glass, somewhat like good hellers I’ve smelled. A little bitter on the tongue initially. This bitterness builds to medium strength after a while into the session. Interestingly rude. Average carbonation. Lingering medicine on the finish. mwelsh13 (483), Maryland, USA

Some caramel malts, biscuit and bread flavors, and a dry bitterness. Very thin beer. Would have liked some more bitterness. Dorwart (1825), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA
