| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 23, 2008 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark caramel-amber color with a very large tan head that lingered. The aroma was dryish, spicy, grainy and lightly fruity. The flavor was dry, grainy and tangy with an odd butterscotch element that grew and a bitter floral hop presence. The finish was bitter and spicy with a lingering butterscotch note. GMCC2181 (865), Bear/Elkton, Delaware, USA

Color was light orange, no head. Taste was plain and watery. As I said not a bad beer, just not good. Maybe a good beer after you cut the grass on a hot day... But to be honest I dont recomend it. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 19, 2008 Sampled on draught at Pints for Pets. Light grain aroma with mild bitter hops. Fairly clean and plain. Golden yellow clear with no head. Medium light body with medium carbonation. Fairly dry grainy rye taste with carbonic tang, light acidity, and a mild dry bitter hoppyness. Clean finish with a bit of dry bitter chalky after on the tongue. pineypower (1096), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | May 18, 2008 Pours out a light amber color with a small thin head. Aroma is of a little sweet malt and maybe some spice. Taste is a bit watery with some notes of toasted malt, rye and some other sweetness and spice in there too. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 12, 2008 Tap at the brewpub. Aroma is very light, pale malt, some very faint rye spiciness, but it’s pretty subtle. Similar combination of floral/spicy hops as appears in all of their pale beer. Bland and watery and fairly uninteresting. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 8, 2008 Draft @ Frisco Grille. Pours crystal clear light amber. Faint sweetness to the nose, but overall it smells very plain and empty, with a light dusting of toast, some light rye, and some light, clean yeast, whatever is left. Flavor is moderately thick, a little “chunky” on the palate, with a really, really faint and subtle flavor of rye grain, cracked barley and toast. There’s not a lot of flavor showing up overall, and after a pint I was tired of the subtle coarseness that seemed to creep up. Nothing special. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 6, 2008 On tap, pours a light amber with a thin white head. Has a mild caramel and mild roasted taste to it, and a definite rye aftertaste. Not bad... definitelyy different. MattShizzle (385), Bernville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | May 3, 2008 Bottle. Copper color, clear. Somewhat off smell. Very strong diacetyl. Not too good. Obviously something isn’t right getting the unpleasant butterscotch-like flavor.
