JoeMcPhee (3586), Jackson Heights, New York, USA May 12, 2008 Tap at the brewpub. Aroma is very light, pale malt, some very faint rye spiciness, but it’s pretty subtle. Similar combination of floral/spicy hops as appears in all of their pale beer. Bland and watery and fairly uninteresting.
jeremytoni (520), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Jun 30, 2008 From a bottle poured a nice amber color with a fair amount of head. Nice hoppy flavor with a good grainy tatse and a lingering finish. jason (1451), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 30, 2008 Draft. Clear amber body with thin head. Aroma is light grain - faint. Flavor is light grain and rye with a malty presence. The_Captain (215), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 28, 2008 Bottle in Lancaster - Poured a clear amber brown, small head that simmered away quickly, no real lacing. Grains and rye on the pallet with a little bit of pale bitterness. Malt smoothness that was rather nice. Pared well with ribs. Low-even carbonation dry finish. Elmowl (10), Annandale, New Jersey, USA Jun 27, 2008 Deep Golden color with thin head. Grainy aroma. Sweet malty and bready flavor with a somewhat bitter aftertaste. Relatively clean finish for a sweeter beer. Better than commercial beer; a passable summertime swill. doubleipa (206), Georgia, USA Jun 26, 2008 Had this at the Harrisburg brewfest. Appearance - amber color with a mostly diminished head. Aroma - mostly pine and resin. Taste - bitter, dry and noit much hoppiness. Mouthfeel - dry. Ok as an IPA, ut not something I would go our of my way to drink or find.
